Below are 2 worksheets I created for a teaching Type project me and Will collaborated on.
My two typographic terms I had to explain in a creative way were "Old Style Numerals" and "Point."
The idea we developed came out of a hate for charity street workers. Their pushiness and over zealous happiness really grinds at my scrooge like spirit. So, instead of just teaching 1 person about Type we decided to bring it to the masses, charity worker style.
We designed a "Type Pack" to hand out, that included 4 worksheets on our various Type words, with badges and stickers too. The thought behind this being that if people received something beautifully designed (Above) they may want to get involved. We also set up a blog for people to feed back their thoughts on the project and to upload their worksheet attempts. Take a peek at
